Mogumber Tavern Bull Ride - Next event 27th August 6pm
The Mogumber Outback Club Fundraising Team will be back with their food stall. The volunteers made
over 100 sausage sizzles and 100 of their famous Outback Burgers during the last event held on 23rd
July. Thank you to the Volunteers who staff the stall.
It's less than 5 months until the New Year's Eve Rodeo at the Mogumber Arena. The Facebook event
page has been launched
The Committee is looking for Volunteers for the event. If you can spare 2-4 hours on the 31st Dec or 1st
Jan we would be very happy to hear from you. Volunteers will receive free entry to the event and a MOC
Shirt. We have positions available from 8am on New Year's Eve through to 12noon New Year's Day.
Tasks include
- Car Parking
- Ticket Gates
- Camp Ground Entry
- Bus Driving
- Bin & Toilet Monitors
- Stock Yards
- Staff meals (sandwich making & drink delivery)
- Breakfast Stall
- Cleanup & Rubbish Collection
The July Junior Rodeo unfortunately got cancelled due to a huge downpour of rain over the weekend.
Thanks to the Junior Rodeo Committee who tried to make things happen. The next Junior Rodeo will be
held August 21st. Spectators welcome from 10am. Entries through ABCRA Central Entry System.
The Victoria Plains Youth Team will be at this event, taking the opportunity to talk to youth 12-25yrs.
