Our Day at the Zoo
On Wednesday the 24
th
of March Calingiri Primary School were lucky enough to take a trip to the
Perth Zoo. When we arrived we went in and found somewhere to sit on the main lawn. We split up into
our groups and the juniors went to find the dinosaurs and the seniors were learning about how to save
the Western Australian animals habitats. After that we set off on our adventure through the zoo. Mrs
Woods’s and Miss Longford’s groups were lucky enough to see Trisha the Elephant do some painting.
As we were walking around, we saw dinosaurs hiding in the bush. We saw just about every animal
which was pretty cool. Cameron’s favourite animals were the monkeys, Emilee’s favourite animals
were the zebras and the giraffes and Cooper’s favourite animals were the meerkats. Everyone had a
fantastic day!
