Corey Payne – Thank You!!
Over $600 was raised for the St John Ambulance Victoria Plains following the game between Calingiri and Gingin on
Sunday, 18th June. A huge thank you to Corey Payne and his family for donating the prizes for the raffle and to the
Calingiri and Gingin players and supporters for their generosity in buying tickets. Corey’s fundraising since his
accident in 2014 is legionary throughout the district which is why he was recently awarded the People’s Choice at the
WA Young Achievers Awards. St John Vic Plains is excited and grateful Corey has chosen us to be the recipient of his
next fundraising run, City to Surf on Sunday, 27th August. If you wish to support Corey, which means you will be

New Committee Member –Glenda Teede
The President welcomed Glenda Teede to the Committee of St John Victoria Plains at our June meeting. Glenda, CEO
of the Shire of Victoria Plains, has served on local emergency services committees during her postings around
Australia - we look forward to her experienced contribution to our Committee.
