Damage to Road Signage
The Shire has become aware of deliberate extensive damage to
road signage in the Shire. There has been a high incidence of
damage reported in the west, but the damage is noted throughout
the Shire.
This damage causes a high cost to both the Shire (which is
carried by the ratepayers) and the State.
Considerable fines of up to $10,000 may be imposed on success-
ful prosecution for deliberate damage to road signage.
Residents are requested to report any
suspicious activity to WA Police on 131444.

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1995
Act s. 5.25(1)(g) and
Local Government (Administration) Regulations 1996 r. 12(2) it is hereby
advised for public information that the meeting scheduled for Wednesday
19 October 2016 will be brought forward a day and will be held on Tuesday
18 October 2016 commencing at 2.00pm. This meeting will be held at the
Council Chambers, Calingiri.
