BOLGART CWA CELEBRATES 79TH BIRTHDAY
On the 10
th
of May, the Bolgart CWA celebrated their 79
th
birthday at Bolgart’s local Trees
Café. During the celebration, Marion Guthrie, the CWA President, acknowledged the
dedication and lifetime commitment of two of their members: Natalie Syred and Kathleen
Travis. Both these ladies have been members of the CWA for over sixty years, giving their
time, resources, and energy to supporting the organisation and the
community at large. They are fantastic friends to all the members of
the CWA, and even when they were no longer able to contribute
physically, they found other ways to stay active within the
association. In all it was a lively celebration, with a wonderful meal
provided by Cathy and Allen Trees.
