Now is the time to nominate an amazing volunteer for the

2016 WA VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARDS

The prestigious Western Australian Volunteer of the Year Awards is celebrating its seventh

year. Created to recognise the outstanding contributions of Western Australian volunteers,

volunteer involving organisations and corporate volunteering programs, the awards publicly

acknowledge these remarkable people and organisations.

315,000 hours

that equates to a figure greater than

$39 billion

to the Western Australian economy each year. They are the backbone of com-

munities in cities and towns around our state.

honour an individual, group or corporation for their above and beyond service to our com-

munity through volunteering.

Volunteering WA invite nominations of a special individual or organisation you feel is worthy

of recognition through a 2016 Western Australian Volunteer of the Year Award.

NOMINATIONS CLOSE: 5.00pm, Friday 11 March 2016

The eight Award recipients will be announced at a Gala Awards Presentation Dinner during

National Volunteer Week, 9 – 15 May 2016. This magnificent event will be held at the

Hyatt Regency Perth Hotel on Wednesday 11 May.

The Western Australian Volunteer of the Year Awards are proudly presented by the Bank-

west Foundation and valued individual Award Partners RAC, Bankwest Foundation, Silver

Chain, Karri Forest Motel, Pemberton, Adcorp, The West Australian Newspaper and Eduka.

The Gala Awards Presentation Dinner is proudly supported by Event Partners Ferngrove

Wines and the Hyatt Regency Perth Hotel.
