EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

The Shire of Victoria Plains has on offer

Two New Positions which are available within the Works Department

Positions would suit retired or semi retired people.

The positions are as gate attendants at the Calingiri and Bolgart Refuse sites.

Hours of work will be three days a week Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday for 20hrs per week.

To apply please put in writing your name, phone number and times you are available for work, and any other experience you may have.

The closing date for applications is Tuesday 21

June at 4pm.

RANGERS RANT

Due to the increase in dog reports, complaints, and dogs that have been found not to be licensed or micro

chipped, the Shire will now take steps to solve this problem. If you have a dog on your property and it is

not license or micro chipped you may receive a warning letter. If you do not comply with the set time of

the warning Infringement notices

will be issued. Any unpaid infringement notices will go to fines

enforcement. Good chance you may lose your license.

All dogs have to be licensed and micro-chipped Farm or Town

PUBLIC NOTICE

It has been noted that a number of Shire residents are taking water from the

standpipe behind the Shire Administration Office on Cavell Street.

Please be advised that this water is for

EMERGANCY AND SHIRE USE ONLY

.

The water from the Standpipe is potable and the Shire pays for this supply with

ratepayer contributions.

If persons are seen taking the water without authorisation, registration

information will be obtained and an invoice will be issued for the estimated

amount of water taken.
