Please welcome Senior Constable Riley SCOTT 10731 to Wongan Hills Police Station. Riley

came from Armadale Police Station, a very busy policing district. If you see him around town,

GENERAL OFFENCES

Police are seeking more information from witnesses resulting from the following offences:

1. May 14, 2016 offender/s broke into the Ballidu Tavern and stole a small quantity of cigarettes.

2. April 27, 2016 offender broke into a room behind the main residence in Cavell St, Calingiri and stole a TV and a

Playstation console.

TRAFFIC—HOONING & TRAFFIC OFFENCES

Last weekend Scotty and I attended traffic crash car vs tree in New Norcia. A 27 years old crashed into the biggest tree in

the area, needless to say he suffered multiple fractures. He’s one lucky man. Police will remind motorist to be extra careful

on wet roads and drive to it’s road conditions. It has been unusual for local police to apprehend three drink drivers in the

vicinity of Calingiri in the last three weeks. Needless to say more patrola are needed. One driver was only driving for a

distance of 500 metres. Police remind you, if you drink, don’t drive.

DRUGS

Wongan Hills Police welcome any information you may have about illegal drugs in Wongan Hills and it’s surrounding areas.

The information you provide will be confidential.

It’s an ongoing intelligence and information received and we have actioned and continue to action it applying for a search

warrant for searching a premises.
