Mogumber's Make It
Rain Party
On Saturday the 10th June, 80 people
gathered at Mogumber Hall looking to the
sky for some much-needed rain.
The extremely dry start to the season had
local farmers anxious. The Mogumber
Outback Club together with the Mogumber
Progress Association organised a social get
together (all within 6 days), providing an
opportunity to talk & share the burden. A
little mental health relief. The Bendigo
Bank sponsored 2 new BBQ's for the
Mogumber Hall, which were filled twice over
on the evening. Thanks also to local
business Mogumber Tavern who surprised
locals with a barrel of refreshments.
Although the rain didn't come that night, it's
great to see #mougmbermoisture eventually
arrived. Fingers crossed more is on the way.
