Calingiri town-site Cleanups
The CEO advised that she has spoken to staff in the Works department and advised that actions
were being taken to regularly tidy the town site of Calingiri and that the Works and Services
Manager has arranged for a street sweeper to service the town site on a regular basis.
Shire of Victoria Plains Policies
Following on from a recent review of the Policy Manual, two new Shire policies were adopted and
two policies were repealed (as follows). The Policy Manual can be accessed on the Shires website
or a copy can be obtained from the Shire offices.
New Policies:
Landfill Site Hours and Access Outside of Hours Policy
Staff Mobile Telephone Usage Policy
Revoked Policies
Use of equipment by employees
Used grader blades

Coming to the Shire of Victoria Plains, we will be trialling bulk recycling
bins in Bolgart, Calingiri and Yerecoin.
