The Mogumber Outback Club
The Mogumber Outback Club AGM was held on the 7th March 2017
The Committee of volunteers was re-elected as follows
- President - Greg Drew
- Secretary - Pauline Carr
- Treasurer - Amanda Drew
- Vice President - Alastair Crookes
There are many volunteers that give their time within the Club - big thanks to all involved.
The Club's largest event, the Mogumber New Year's Eve Rodeo, saw many volunteers join in for the first time. The
increase of volunteers really helped the Club produce a smooth & hassle free event. Thanks to our local land holder
who provides a paddock for overnight camping. This year we encouraged a gold coin donation for entry to the
camping area. An amazing $1,345 was raised for Telethon's Perth Children's Foundation. That's a lot more than a
simple gold coin per person so thanks to our very generous visitors. The committee would love to hear your

During the AGM, the Club decided to move forward with their major plan to establish a permanent arena structure at
Mogumber. The arena yards currently used by the club are hired from the ABCRA, which results in a lot of volunteer
work during set up & pack down. The Club has been fundraising towards the project for several years and hope to
combine raised funds with grant funding and sponsorship opportunities. The arena facility will compliment
Mogumber's oval, hall & recreational area. A permanent structure will mean the Junior Rodeo’s can be held regularly
throughout the year and the facility can be opened to other use from the wider community.
