The latest on COVID-19 (coronavirus)

What is the Shire of Victoria Plains doing?

The Shire of Victoria Plains’ greatest concern is the wellbeing and safety of our community, especially those most at risk. The Shire is basing its advice and decisions on advice from the Department of Health and other government organisations. For coronavirus information in languages other than English, please visit the FREE COVID-19 Multilingual Resource Library or the Australian Government Department of Health website.

How to contact the Shire

Either attending the Administration Office in person, submission of customer requests via email at reception@victoriaplains.wa.gov.au, or calling 08 9628 7004. Please note staff in attendance may be wearing face masks from time to time.

The holiday season is approaching, and family and friends are gathering in large numbers. With more COVID-19 in the community, it is important we all continue to do the things we need to do to stay safe.

Our messaging to the WA community is to:

· Stay home and get tested if you’re unwell.

· Get the fourth dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if eligible.

· Wash or sanitise your hands regularly and cover coughs and sneezes.

· Wear a mask if necessary, and when you can’t physically distance from other people.

· Collect free RATs from locations across the State.

· Register positive RAT results.

You can also follow the WA Government Facebook and Twitter pages for more information on how you and your family can stay safe this summer
