The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our friendly team based in Calingiri. This role is a great opportunity to support the community while gaining experience in local government administration.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering prompt, professional customer service for enquiries and payments. • Cash handling duties, including receipting, balancing and end-of-day banking • Maintaining accurate records/filing systems in accordance with established procedures. • Register electronic records using CouncilFirst Records. • Provide support for Department of Transport (Training will be provided). • Managing council housing and rental property records • Oversee the shire gymnasium • Maintain accurate cemetery records
Selection Criteria
• High degree of personal integrity • Professionalism and confidentiality in dealing with sensitive matters • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Flexible approach to approach tasks • Strong attention to detail • Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines • Current C class drivers’ licence
