The Shire Victoria Plains is in the central wheatbelt of Western Australia 153 kms north-east of Perth and just 75 minutes from Ellenbrook. Traditionally a prosperous farming district, the shire is home to unique attractions such as Australia’s only Monastic Town, New Norcia, and a European Space Agency (ESA) ground station. The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Temporary Library Officer based in Mogumber. This is a great opportunity to support the community while gaining experience in Local Government.
Key responsibilities include:
• Delivering prompt, professional customer service for enquiries.
• Maintaining accurate records/filing systems in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintaining order in the library
• Deliver Rhyme Time and Storytelling on Fridays
• Report maintenance issues through Correct Channels
• Communication and computer use
Selection Criteria
• High degree of personal integrity
• Ability to work unsupervised and meet expectations.
• Flexible approach to approach tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines
• Current C class drivers’ licence

• Salary will be based on LGO Award 2021, plus 12% Guarantee Super and an additional 6.5% subject to co-contribution option.
