The Opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and self-motivated Waste Facility Operator/Building Maintenance Person to join our team based in Calingiri. This hands-on role offers the chance to learn safe and efficient use of plant and equipment, while contributing to the upkeep of our community facilities. The position is available for an immediate start.
About You
The successful candidate will ideally demonstrate: • A genuine passion for outdoor, physical work and the resilience to handle varied tasks. • Be able to interact with community members. • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • A strong focus on safety, with pride in producing quality outcomes for the community. • Physical fitness and a positive “can-do” attitude. • A current ‘MR’ class drivers’ licence (minimum requirement).
Benefits
• In return for your skills and dedication, a salary based on the Municipal Employees (WA) Award 2021, ranging from $61,239 to $69,720 per annum. (depending on the experience), plus 12% Guarantee Superannuation, and Industry Allowance. • Part-Time role,72 hours per fortnight.
